BRRRRRRRRR......
I so can't wait for winter to be OVER. I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!
We have had such a busy weekend. My doctor gave me strict orders to rest due to the major swelling of my legs, ankles, feet, and even toes. It was awful. They think it is from riding in the car to Chicago and back and sitting so much at the funeral home. But, we had so much going on that it was nearly impossible to rest much.
Yesterday I worked just over 4 hours..gotta love tax season. While I was at work Madison had dance at 9am and also at 11:00am. The 9am is her normal time on Saturdays but the 11:00am was a make-up session because she missed last Saturday. After all that...we all rested quite a bit. :o)
Today.....well since it was Sunday......we had church. Our church was pretty empty......that was because of the weather. It was -41 degrees with the windchill. Ugh! Ugh again! It was hard to get out in that nasty weather. But, we had a guest preacher who was amazing. I loved watching our guests sign to the music (a choir that travels with the guest preacher). Also, the guest preacher signs as she preaches. Her sermon was awesome. Today was the first day that Madison went to Sunday School. She normally just wants to sit with us but since she is four we felt she should really start going. She loved it.
After church, we drove to Oostburg to visit Kevin's parents, his sister, and her husband. We thought they would have so much more snow than we have here by Appleton but it looked like they had the same. It was hard to believe they had just gotten 21 inches in one day last week. However, on the way to their house the wind was blowing so much snow over the roads. There were spots where it was a complete white out and we were going 5 mph on the highway. You couldn't even see the person in front of us. I would never want to drive in that. Thanks Kevin! I did sit in the back so I could have my feet up the entire time. We had a nice time and Madison loved being at Grandma and Pop Pop's house.

Can It Get Any Colder?
