Madison hasn't felt good this week...fever off and on. She dressed her "friends" up and lined them up tonight and wanted me to take her picture. She seems to be feeling a little better.

Special Photos
For years I have wanted to go with my sister and have our pictures professionally taken together. I bugged and bugged her. The more children we had the more I talked about it. It was also hard to get her and I together with all of our children at the same time. Since we were all together at her house for Christmas we decided this was the best opportunity. So we went to Lincoln, Nebraska on December 26, 2008 and had them taken. Talk about hard to get that many children to look at the camera and get decent shots. I think her and I were wore out way before we got to the studio. However, in the end, the pictures turned out pretty darn good considering and we are so happy we made the time to do this. Here are a few of the photos from our photo shoot. I love them!

8 Months
Our sweet little boy is 8 months old today. How bittersweet.
He weighs 15lbs 10.2 ounces (he is small and way under his growth curve so the doctors are monitoring his weight every week or two)

Times Just Flies By.........
Wow...where has the time gone? Obviously it is flying by fast...faster than I want it to. I haven't posted anything at all in well over a month.
Lets see..to sum it all up as short as possible:
Madison was in the Nutcracker with her dance studio. She was an angel. We were super busy running her to practices, dress rehearsals, and 4 performances. We or at least momma was glad when the running was over. However, she informed us that she can't wait until she can be in it again.
We drove to Beaver Crossing, Nebraska the week of Christmas. Christmas of 2008 was hosted by the Fowlers. We had a fabulous time with the Fowlers (Melanie's sister and family) as well as Grampy and Grandma Carol (Melanie's dad & stepmom). We never seem to have enough time when it comes to family. But, we had a wonderful but busy Christmas.
Some of Ethan's new firsts:
Said Dada - December 23rd at 3:58pm (Kevin made me take note of the time as well as the date)
Crawled - December 26th
Said Mama - January 1st
And....last but not least.......Melanie turned 34 on January 12th.
