Diaper Bag

Madison and I packed the diaper bag for the baby today. Talk about weird....it has been so long since I have used a diaper bag. Madison sure had a blast putting everything we need in the bag.

Well, I guess since we don't have everything we need for baby and hardly anything is ready..one thing is ready........the diaper bag! **One step closer to being ready for baby!

Madison's Appointment * Surgery Follow-Up

Well, it has been 3 months since Madison was last seen by the Plastic Surgeon that did her surgery.

The plastic surgeon went over everything again. I can't even remember what I posted before. But, I will sum it up again.

The bump that Madison had on her arm that we needed removed was a spitz nevus....not a dermatofibroma. It was benign. However, it would have turned into melanoma according the reports by all who examined it. It was definitely something that had to be removed so we did the right thing. Her scar is red and will take a while to heal completely. She will always have a scar. But, that is better than a nasty bump that would grow more and turn into something worse than it was. We do need to be extra careful this summer since it hasn't healed all the way. So, every time she is in the sun she must have zinc oxide on it. We don't want it to get sunburned. If it does it may darken permanently and be more noticeable. We went and bought purple zinc oxide. So, bring on the sun!
