The Backyardigans Live!

Today we took Madison to see The Backyardigans Live! I bought tickets through work and the show was at 2pm at the Fox Cities PAC. I kept saying it was Madison's last hurrah before the baby comes...and what a perfect time.....one month before baby is due to arrive. We didn't tell her we had tickets until today. She knew about the show and we kept telling her if she was good we would buy tickets.

What a cute show! Madison had a blast...singing, dancing, and helping out The Backyardigans with the shield they gave her before the show. When she turned 4 she wanted everything to be The Backyardigans: cake, plates, masks, etc. So, we knew we wanted to take her. Daddy and Momma bought her a shirt, hair pretties, and a straw. We did not intend on getting more than a shirt. But, daddy was nice and said okay. Remember this was her "last hurrah" before the baby arrives.

After the show was over and we were sitting in our car waiting to exit the parking ramp...she informed us that she wanted to go back and watch it again. I must also say that the line for the elevator at the parking ramp was long...so I decided to take the stairs. I think Kevin was pretty shocked. Well...needless to say, I was so tired when we made it to the top...we parked all the way at the top almost......level 5.

One Month To Go

My due date is in one month exactly!!!

Girl's Night Out

Last night was Girl's Night Out. Seven of us met at 6pm at Kim's house. She ordered pizza from Vinny's Pizza (her mom works there). They haven't started delivering to Greenville...but will I believe starting May 1st. She has connections since her mom works there so they delivered the pizza to us. The pizza was so good. I will definitely help keep them in business.

After pizza we headed to the Skyline Comedy Cafe. Our seats were perfect...not right in front but right behind the front row on one side. I laughed the entire time. The comedian, Ryan Stout, was hilarious!

Doctor's Appointment

Yesterday I had a prenatal appointment. My last one was 4 weeks ago. I figured it would be uneventful. They checked my weight and blood pressure. My doctor was pretty concerned with my swelling but since my blood pressure is normal...nothing he can really do. He said all the same things....go swimming, soak in the bathtub for 30 minutes a day, blah, blah, blah. He said watching my sodium and drinking more water wouldn't really matter...to be honest. He said the best thing is to lay on my left side as much as possible...to just get more rest. He said that with this amount of swelling the compression stockings would be almost impossible to get on. Than he did the group b test and checked to see if anything was going on. Nope...nada. I pretty much knew that. Baby is somewhat engaged but that is it. I go back in 10 days...thank goodness not in a week...I don't mind waiting longer...especially since I doubt anything will be happening in the meantime.

35 weeks/35 days

Okay...I just looked at my pregnancy ticker at the top of this blog. It says I am 35 weeks pregnant and have 35 days to go. That is nuts!

I only have 24 days left of work!! Unless I go over my due date. Which is possible since I went over by 15 days with Maddie.

Maybe this weekend I will take a new photo.........ugh..but do we really want to see and remember how big I am? :o)
