Pictures From Last Weekend

I am a little behind with my posts....busy, busy, busy...these are just some fun random pictures from last weekend. (Kevin had to get Ethan this hat when we saw it at the store a while ago....Kevin has one just like this from when he was in the Army. What I need to do is get a picture of both of them wearing them.)

12 Weeks

Last Saturday

We decided to do something fun with Madison since it was my last weekend off from work. We took her to Bay Beach. We try to take her once during the summer. She was so excited. We spent most of the day there. Bay Beach is so nice for kids..and parents...so cheap. The tickets for the rides are 25cents and rides are either 1 or 2 tickets. We spent $8 on tickets and we were there for a long time. So much cheaper than the fair. The last time we went to the fair the ferris wheel was 3 tickets and the tickets were $1 each...so for 3 people that would have been $9 that is nuts. Madison and I just went on the ferris wheel at Bay Beach and it was $1 total for both of us..2 tickets each. Kevin went on other rides with her...we took turns. Someone had to stay with Ethan. She really wanted to go on the swings but since you can't sit on a seat with an adult if you are too short...she couldn't go. She is just under the requirement...she cried and cried. Oh well...next year she will be above the requirement. So silly considering she rode the scrambler when she was 2...but yep..you can sit with an adult on that one...and she almost fell asleep on it when she was 2. She laughed and laughed on the rides. Fun was had by all. Ethan mainly slept in the stroller or the sling. (I forgot my camera)

Ethan & Halle

Ethan & Halle didn't do much while the other children played. Neither one of them went to Karen's. They are about 2 months apart. Anna wanted them to lay by each other so she didn't have to move to see either of them. I didn't take my camera but my friend, Jody, sent me these (Parker, Ajay, & Halle's mom). Jody and Dawn had a blast taking pictures of these two. Aren't they sweet together? At one point they were holding hands.. =) So cute! (You can see them holding hands in the 3rd photo.)

Reunited

On Thursday we went to Rich, Dawn, Anna, & Will's house. We were invited over along with another family. Our children went to the same sitter until a year ago (Karen's). It was great to get Anna, Parker, & Madison back together again. They had a blast playing together. Anna's yard was like a circus! =) Will & Ajay had a blast too. They were younger and not at Karen's as long as the other children. But, they all played so well together. We plan on getting together again in the Fall. Madison has seen Anna since last August but not Parker. So...we plan to get together more often. (Momma had the first martini that she actually loved! Yum)
