Ballet/Tap/Jazz

Today we signed Madison up for a full year of ballet/tap/jazz. So that means she will be in the Summer session and than the Fall/Spring session. It is a better deal if you sign up by today for the full year. So, that means she will be able to perform in the Nutcracker. How exciting!

Today she learned about choreography. Her class did all the choreography for a new song and performed the dance for the parents. Madison did the entire dance just learning it today. I was so proud. She didn't miss a beat.

Her first recital is June 14th. Her teacher told the class today that they can't miss any classes in March since they will start learning their dance for the recital. They want them to learn it now so that if anyone goes on vacation they will know the routine.

Sibling Class

Today we signed Madison up for a sibling class at our hospital.

The class is April 2nd and is only 1 hour. We feel it is very important to keep her involved. She will have a program and tour to familiarize her with the hospital, help her feel a part of the event and aid in making baby's homecoming a happily anticipated event. The class is for children ages 3-9.

I told her about the class and she was very excited. I am not sure if she was excited about the class itself or the fact that she is to bring a favorite doll and a receiving blanket with her.
