Happy 68th Birthday!!!

So...I am posting this a little late. My dad's birthday is June 13th. Yep..Friday the 13th. And as I post this it is actually June 14th now.

Seriously......

Well, I knew I would receive this in the mail..it was just a matter of time. I am sure you are thinking...what did you receive? Well.....I received...JURY DUTY SUMMONS.


Okay, so right around my due date or was I overdue...I received the JURY DUTY QUESTIONNAIRE. Well, I didn't fill it out until I was home from the hospital after having Ethan. I didn't have time and than I quickly filled it out online..a day late. I laughed about it with my neighbors when I received it. However, I am not laughing today.

So...what did I do? I called the number and told them that I just had a baby...blah, blah, blah. They told me to have my doctor fax that information to them and that the judge should say I don't have to serve. So, Friday at Ethan's appointment I will be discussing this with my doctor. Seriously of all times....when I am on maternity leave.

I remember talking to someone at work the day after I received the questionnaire. The person I talked to was older than I am and they have never received anything about jury duty. Hello...this is my second time. Once in Colorado and now this time. My mom called when I received the one in Colorado because I was away at school. So, since I was in College and not close enough I got out of it. Kevin had to serve a year or so ago. I guess I wouldn't really mind...but hello.....I am on maternity leave!!

3 Weeks

I can't believe Ethan is 3 weeks old already today. Sad thinking that I have used up 1/4 of my maternity leave. I enjoy my time with my children!

Ethan is a sleeper...so it is hard to get a picture of him awake. He is still in newborn diapers and newborn clothes. Seems crazy since he weighed 8lbs 7oz at birth and must be back up to that or over by now. He has a doctor's appointment on Friday so we will know for sure in a couple of days what he weighs now. I can't believe he isn't into size 0-3 month clothes yet. Madison wasn't for a while either when she was born but she only weighed 6lbs 12oz. Isn't he Handsome? :o) Madison picked out the outfit and slippers for her brother so she was excited that we dressed him in this today and took his picture.
